If you're anticipating an after-work Starbucks fix ... you better leave the office early. At 5:30 p.m. all Starbucks locations around the globe will close for 3 hours of barista training. Luckily we have plenty of great coffee shops around Lake Highlands to keep us sufficiently caffinated. (White Rock Coffee Shop: get ready!)

Well shoot, it's 5:50pm and I just got back on line and saw your post Christina. Hope it's not too late...HEAD TO WRC! That would be White Rock Coffee, as you said, 10105 E. NW Hwy. Best brew in town. And the folks there aren't being retro weird and doin' the 'I'm tryin' to be a cool '60's cat'. They're just weird. No retro 'bout 'em.
