Never heard back from anyone at Sprouts Farmers Market, to see if their Dallas-area expansion plans included a place like the proposed Lake Highlands Town or any other similar shopping center in Lake Highlands. That no one called back is not unusual -- retailers are notoriously tight-lipped about expansion plans. They're terrified they're going to give away a trade secret if they discuss that stuff.
I did check with a couple of Dallas commercial real estate people, including my favorite source, Deep Developer. None had heard anything about Sprouts being interested in this part of town, and one of them asked me why I would even bother to ask about that. Despite the economic and demographic changes around here, he said, we're not Frisco, and companies like Sprouts still want Frisco.
