WalMart opening October 29?
A little bird told me that the new Lake Highlands Wal-Mart Supercenter is slated to open on Wednesday, October 29. Can any of our well-connected readers in the blogosphere confirm that one?
This new store, located between LBJ and Forest Lane just west of Abrams Road, has been under construction for many months and has been the subject of everything from celebration parties to dire forecasts for the neighborhood. Sounds like by month's end we will all be able to see which side was right.
The new WalMart indeed opens on Wednesday, October 29th.
