Tracking Lake Highlands Town Center progress

Town_center_4
As some of you know, the Advocate has a web cam monitoring the progress of the Whole Foods building in Lakewood. We haven't found a spot for a Lake Highlands Town Center web cam to date, so I'll try to periodically snap shots of the development like these. Now don't get too excited — these aren't all that enthralling, But my hope is that they will serve as a barometer by which to measure future progress and make my awesome pics in the months to come seem even better.

Look to Back Talk for more information about LHTC soon.

Any way we can get the same kind of service regarding the reconstruction and improvement of the Rec Center Pond area. We should have at least a little oversight of that project, since we paid for it.

What happened to all the trees? They looked like they were being so careful during demolition of the apartments to be careful of the big old trees. Then one day I drove by and they bulldozed them all. Every single one. Except for the ones that the city butchered on Skillman to keep clear of the power lines.

I mean did they have to get rid of them all? Those lots are desolate now. Bleh.
